Tapiwa
Malawian-born and raised in Manchester, Tapiwa has worked in restaurants and bars in Manchester and London where she studied and met Laurence. She works as a Special School Teacher in the day but will keep your drinks and food coming in the evenings.
Laurence
London-born and bred, Laurence has worked in kitchens for as long as he can remember. His passion for food started from a young age and took him into the world of hospitality, where he has worked his way up through the ranks.
Kampasi means Compass in Chichewa, the national language of Malawi.
Here at Kampasi, our food celebrates and elevates comfort foods from around the world.
We feel food is a vital aspect of community and family and, we believe in creating a connected community engaged in celebrating different cultures through, delicious food and drink.
